Two Pink Lines and you now what that means?

UPDATE June 8th, 5:34 MST : Thank you everyone! I am blown away with your well wishes and congratulations! You are helping me through the day, a day when I feel completely pukey

I am late to take the boys to swimming lessons, but I couldn’t keep you waiting any longer. After two scary ultra-sounds, blood tests for both Dave and myself and a roller coaster of improbability (as far as my dates go), it official: Dave impregnated me! Woohoo! IT IS ABOUT TIME!

(The long and detailed story is on its way)

  1. Congrats! I’ve saved those tests for 10 years– they’re still rattling around the house somewhere as proof!! (As if the smelly feet and orthodontist bills weren’t enough).

  14. Congratulations! I read your journal every day for a long time, but when I had my second child I had no free time and had to give up all blogs of people that I didn’t know in real life. Despite that resolve, I still checked occasionally (monthly?) to see if you were pregnant yet. I must have known that today was the right day to check!

I’m so happy for all of you. That child is so lucky to be coming into your life!

  15. Wow…I have been waiting with bated breath since yesterday, and such great news! I know you guys must be so very thrilled. I’ve been reading your blog for a long time, but not commenting before yesterday, and definitely wanted to share the joy today. How exciting! Many congratulations!!!!

I don’t know if you remember, but on April 5th you wrote a post about everything that was on your mind, including something about a “fertility window” that your mom had suggested you might have. I commented that I was right there with you in trying to get pregnant. Your words were so calming to me then.
Well, I found out I was pregnant on May 18th! I’m just about 7-8 weeks along.
I am so happy for you all.

  34. Wow, congratulations!!! I know [at least from what you’ve written here] that you have wanted this for a very long time. Best wishes, prayers, and love to you and your family.

  37. Congratulations, Beth! I can’t think of better news for you and your family!! Here’s to prayers answered and dreams coming true….

  38. I could totally be immature and say something sing-songy like, “I knoooww whaaat youuuuu’vvvve been up tooooo.”

But then, I already knew that, and I’d think you a tad strange if you HADN’T been up to it.

So! Congratulations! I know how long you’ve wanted this – I hope it is an easy pregnancy for you, and wish you THE BEST!!!

  39. Ahhhhh!

    I’m so happy for you!

Blessings and happiness to the family and to the new little peanut!
